These terms cover your use of this website, motmotfoundationrepair.com, operated by Motmot Foundation Repair ("we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. They cover the website only — actual inspection and repair work is governed by the written proposal and agreement you sign with us, and warranty coverage by the written warranty document. Nothing on this site modifies those documents.
Site content is educational
Articles, guides, illustrations, and tools on this site explain how Central Texas foundations behave and how repair works. They are not engineering designs, structural advice for your specific property, or a final estimate. Every house sits on its own soil with its own history; repair recommendations and firm pricing come only after a physical inspection of your property.
The repair calculator
The calculator produces rough educational ranges from the inputs you give it. Actual pier counts, methods, and costs are determined by field measurements, elevation data, and site conditions — not by a web form. Don't make financial decisions on calculator output alone; get the free inspection and a line-itemed number.
Inspections, estimates, and repair work
Requesting an inspection through this site doesn't create a contract. If we do work together, the scope, price, schedule, and terms of that work are set out in a written proposal and agreement we both sign. If anything on this site appears to conflict with your signed agreement, the signed agreement wins.
Warranty
Warranty coverage is governed solely by the written warranty document provided at completion of work. Pages on this site that describe the warranty — including the annotated agreement walkthrough — are explanations, not the warranty itself.
Calls and texts
If you give us your phone number through this site, you're asking us to contact you about your request, and we may do so by call or text. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or reply HELP for help. Our content
The text, photographs, illustrations, diagrams, branding, and tools on this site belong to Motmot Foundation Repair. You're welcome to read, print, and share links for personal, noncommercial use. Don't republish our content as your own or scrape the site in bulk.
Tool licenses
Two tools on this site carry their own share-friendly license: the Foundation Repair Cost Calculator and the Foundation Risk Map are © Motmot Foundation Repair and licensed under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. That means you may share, copy, or embed them unchanged with credit to Motmot Foundation Repair and a link to motmotfoundationrepair.com, but you may not sell them, charge for access to them, or publish modified versions. Our jobsite photographs carry the same CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license — see Using our photos for the credit line and details. Everything else on the site stays all rights reserved as described in "Our content."
Acceptable use
Don't use the site for anything unlawful, attempt to interfere with its operation, or probe it for vulnerabilities. That's the whole list.

Where we link to third-party sites, we do it because the resource is useful — not as an endorsement, and we're not responsible for their content or practices.

The website is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the site itself — its availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, Motmot Foundation Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here limits our obligations under a signed repair agreement or written warranty.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute about the website will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version with its effective date will always be posted here. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
