Careers · San Antonio & Austin
Build a career where the work is measured, and so is the respect.
Motmot is a family-owned foundation repair and concrete company serving the whole San Antonio–Austin corridor. We run safe, certified, inspection-first jobs — and we hire people who want to do the trade the honest way and grow into it. If that’s you, we’d like to meet you.
How we run a jobsite
Safety and certification aren’t paperwork here — they’re the standard.
OSHA-trained crews
Every field employee carries OSHA 10; foremen and superintendents hold OSHA 30. We pay for the training and the renewals.
ICC-certified leadership
Our project managers and superintendents hold (or are sponsored toward) ICC certifications, including ICC Residential Building Contractor.
Daily safety culture
Toolbox talks every morning, a written jobsite safety plan on every project, and the authority for anyone to stop work that isn't safe.
DOT-compliant drivers
Licensed, medically-carded drivers and documented load securement — equipment moves the right way, every time.
Drug-free workplace
Pre-employment and random screening keep every crew and every customer's home safe.
Equal-opportunity employer
We hire on skill, work ethic, and integrity — and we promote from within, crew member to foreman to superintendent.
Why people stay
What we offer the crew.
- Steady, year-round work across the I-35 corridor — not feast-or-famine.
- Company-paid OSHA and ICC certification paths, and the time to earn them.
- Modern tools and equipment: digital elevation surveys, tablets, and well-maintained trucks.
- A real ladder: crew member → foreman → superintendent, with the training to climb it.
- A family-owned, no-pressure culture where doing the job right is the job.
Compensation is competitive and discussed during the interview, based on role, certifications, and experience.
