How the difficulty score works

Details for each trade

Foundation repair

Local ruleCertificate of registration (City Code Chapter 123).

The registration chapter covers repairing any house and laying a foundation, but it exempts work that only replaces or repairs a home's component parts, such as a roof. It does not say which side of that line a foundation repair falls on, so ask the Building Official at (254) 953-5600 before you bid.

Harker Heights prices no permit specifically for foundation repair, so the Building Official decides which permit and registration apply.

  1. Ask the Building Official whether the repair needs a registration and which permit applies.
  2. Apply for that permit and book inspections through MyGovernmentOnline.
